A relaxed, informal, cosy restaurant that offers award-winning fine dining and great service, set within a traditional pub. Located in Sancton at the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, the award-winning Star Inn is welcoming both with its charming character and quality of service.
Ben and Lindsey, the owners of The Star Inn, needed a new website that helped portray the quality of what they provide to their regular restaurant customers. A rebrand was essential to give them a modern image and help captivate internet visitors. As well as a website, they required branding, online marketing and print work. Everything had to be of the highest quality.
We started by creating a brand for The Star and used this to develop the website styling and the various printed items required such as menus, beer mats, stationery and building signs.
The website we made using Mission Control CMS which allows each and every element of the website to be editable by Ben and Lindsey. We added an e-commerce facility which enables their customers to buy gift vouchers and hampers. The ongoing digital marketing ensures that customers are being delivered to the website.
This classically styled logo creates the impression of the 'S' being a plate, which is actually two overlapping hexagons. The logo is instantly recognisable and has been used on various printed materials, building signs, the website of course and on all of their social networks.
Following the development of their brand new website which complimented their high quality of food and service, Ben and Lindsay wanted to improve on what was already a very strong local reputation. We created a digital marketing strategy which focused on not only bringing in new customers from the region but one that also promoted their other catering and wedding services.
